Does anyone feel like EA is pimping Lovestruck a lot harder than they did with previous expansions? They are doing so many social media posts about it, compared to For Rent or Horse Ranch. They have ads on Tinder (you can come across Bella Goth and I think a gnome or something). They just seem to be pushing it more than they have with other recent packs, it's interesting.

In The Sims 4, the Family bin is replaced with the Gallery, but both features serve the same basic function for households and families that have yet to be moved in. The Gallery is identical in all worlds and games, and the households placed within it can be placed in multiple games and in any worlds.

What percentage of people play without mods/cc? For 1/2/3, I imagine the only people who play them still are entrenched enough in the game to know/care about modding it.

But are mods/cc as common as they seem or is it all confirmation bias because I use mods and therefore hang out in places where others do as well?

There have to be children and grandmas playing vanilla TS4 out there, is what I'm saying, but is that really the biggest part of 4's playerbase?

The percentage of TS4 players without mods would be inflated by console players. I also wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of more casual players that don't interact with the community or use mods.

Anyone still playing TS2 or TS3 will more than likely use mods because there are guides written on how to get the games running on modern hardware that include mods.

When the family is first played Brandi is 22 days away from becoming an elder. Due to this, some players believe she had Dustin as a teen, which is not possible unless cheats or hacks are used. Additionally, her memories indicate that she was an adult when she had Dustin. The reason for this is because she was created in Create-a-Sim, but an in-universe explanation could be that she had access to the Elixir of Life at some point in her life.

Okay, here's one secret (I trust other anons will handle the remaining 99):

I still think it's a huge missed chance you can't woohoo with the mother plant. The second I saw it I knew I was going to befriend it and woohoo with it only to find out EA didn't allow that ☹️ you can befriend it, but to beat the story the only option is to kill it. I think they should have given an option to start a mother-cult where it would calm down, stop releasing spores and you'd sacrifice a sim or two every month to it. Or let her woohoo your sim, that works too.

Is anybody playing Lovestruck? My matches on Cupid's Corner no longer have random Sims from the gallery :( That feature worked at first and I thought it was actually really cool, but for the last few days it only ever shows Sims from my save, not player-made gallery Sims.

Also the game is having a bad day with the irritating lag/jittering. You know, the one where you have to hit escape to make it stop, and then it smooths out to normal again for a few minutes until it starts again because you went into build/buy or it just felt like it. It's actually really annoying.
