When the family is first played Brandi is 22 days away from becoming an elder. Due to this, some players believe she had Dustin as a teen, which is not possible unless cheats or hacks are used. Additionally, her memories indicate that she was an adult when she had Dustin. The reason for this is because she was created in Create-a-Sim, but an in-universe explanation could be that she had access to the Elixir of Life at some point in her life.

my least favorite players are the ones who obsess over shit like this. obviously ea made the characters in cas and didn't put any thought into it beyond that. no, a fresh adult sim couldn't have a teenager timeline-wise, it doesn't add up. who cares? it's just not that deep. they weren't trying to imply that brandi was a teen mom or whatever stupid shit people try to come up with

I just assume that the Sim got pregnant the day she became an adult. Or that EA coded the game and could create the characters and their stories how they want. They probably were trying to give the illusion of her having kids young even though as you say without cheats and hacks etc it doesn't happen.
