an announcement in the deaderpool discord (the creator of mccc) says that the turbodriver doxxing thing is an unfounded rumor

“Heyo everyone,

The server staff are requesting that everyone in chat refrain from discussing or speculating about Turbodriver going forward - whether it be in regards to the unfounded rumour of doxxing, or when Wicked Whims/Wonderful Whims will be updated. Even if well-intentioned, Turbo deserves some peace, and discussion can very quickly turn sour.

Regular gameplay discussions about his mods continues to be absolutely fine in the appropriate channels. Wonderful Whims can be discussed in any of our general chats, Wicked Whims discussions are available to those with the NSFW role in any of our 18+ channels. When WW is updated, we will update everyone in ⁠<#349657492625686539> and ⁠⁠<#727993161129001080> channels like we always do!

Ongoing discussion on this topic may lead to being muted at the Staff’s discretion. If necessary, further incidents may result in additional measures including, but not limited to, being kicked and/or banned as necessary.

of course. people love to jump on their high horses and moralize about how awful others are. SOME PORNSICK WEIRDO DOXXED THIS MODDER FOR NOT UPDATING QUICKLY ENOUGH is a great opportunity for sermons. who cares if it's true or not, it gives you an excuse to feel superior and talk about how wrong someone is!
