Okay, here's one secret (I trust other anons will handle the remaining 99):

I still think it's a huge missed chance you can't woohoo with the mother plant. The second I saw it I knew I was going to befriend it and woohoo with it only to find out EA didn't allow that ☹️ you can befriend it, but to beat the story the only option is to kill it. I think they should have given an option to start a mother-cult where it would calm down, stop releasing spores and you'd sacrifice a sim or two every month to it. Or let her woohoo your sim, that works too.
