About all the summary_anon is dead secrets; I doubt they're dead, they very likely just got bored since the secrets have been a snooze festival for a good while, I wouldn't bother with them either if I was them.

7. I still think it's ridiculous people run to update their games and install the new packs immediately after they're released, what kind of an idiot does that? You'd think that in ten years even the dumbest fucking amoeba brain would have realized that it takes time for modders to fix their mods so maybe hold back from updating your game until the important mods are fixed, you won't miss out on the important pre-order gift or whatever it is that possesses you to instantly install new packs since it's available for a good while after the release too. But no, every new update people rush to get it and then cry because their mods are broken. Seriously makes you wonder if they also have to remind themselves to manually breathe since they clearly lack the brain cells for such advanced basic functions.

I 100% agree. It's maybe a little harsh, but there are plenty of people who do this who ARE NOT new to the game. Like. Once you've played for awhile, you should know how this works. Big patches that have significant changes WILL ALWAYS BREAK MODS. ALWAYS. 100% OF THE TIME. And yet every single fucking time there's a new patch, even with lots of people broadcasting HEY THIS PATCH IS GOING TO BREAK YOUR MODS, REMOVE THEM FROM THE GAME OR ELSE DON'T UPDATE THE GAME BECAUSE YOUR MODS WILL BE BROKEN, there are still countless dumbfucks going OMG MY MODS ARE BROKEN??? Or talking about how their game won't load or there are crashes or serious problems and when you ask if they have mods, it's "Well but I only have a few" or "Oh yeah but I only have XYZ installed though" and "XYZ" is a huge mod that does a lot and is well-known to be broken 🤦‍♀️ Like you have to decide if you want the new shit right away because if you do that's going to be at the expense of your mods. Or if you can't play without your mods, in which case you'd better hold off on the new shit and give the modders time to update.

This was an unfortunate combination of a romance pack and turbodriver being on vacation, and of course a lot of the wicked whims users wanted the pack immediately, but again, you choose between the mods or the new pack. And harassing him is absolute cretin behavior.

3. I think it's definitely fair to compare the different games. If you want to just play one or the other and just view it as its own separate thing, that's fine, but you can't expect other people not to compare them. (Well, you shouldn't. I know some people expect others to think the same way they do, but that's not reasonable.)

Agreed. It's also why I think TS3 was a mistake, too much of the complexity of TS2 was lost so the game could be open world on 2009 hardware.

the open world is part of sims 3 complexity. maybe you prefer sims 2 type of complexity, but don't say sims 3 is not as (or even more) complex as sims 2.

So why don't you get all uppity about these people apparently downgrading happiness and joy? Oh, right, because that's not how modern society uses the word. Here's a news flash for you: Modern society also uses the word "gay" to refer to something they don't like. 2. Go for it, it’s your game, and you should be able to write as you please. Besides, most of these so-called popular people are overrated anyhow. Look at them as attention seeker, who really have no life and get their major kicks by parading around as someone important. Sad thing is most of them believe the hype. In reality, they are more than likely obese, very unattractive, and grossly insecure. The Sims Community is filled with them, just look at the ones who have to have their names in simming light, trust me they are overcompensating. Dear Sims Community,

I feel compelled to share my thoughts and experiences with The Sims 4, given my long-standing dedication to the franchise. Like many of you, I have been an avid fan since The Sims Bustin' Out and have faithfully purchased every DLC released since the launch of The Sims 4.

However, despite my unwavering support, I have grown increasingly frustrated and disappointed with the current state of the game. Persistent bugs and issues have plagued The Sims 4 for years, particularly with DLC packs that remain unfixed long after their release. This ongoing problem severely impacts gameplay and makes it challenging to enjoy the game as it was advertised.

It is disheartening to see EA continuously push out new DLCs without addressing these long-standing issues or providing clear communication about the steps being taken to resolve them. As dedicated players and supporters, we expect a certain level of quality and transparency, which The Sims 4 has consistently failed to deliver.

Despite numerous updates and patches, core gameplay issues persist, making the game less enjoyable and often unplayable. This approach undermines the trust and loyalty of the community and tarnishes the legacy of a beloved franchise.

I urge EA to prioritize fixing these enduring issues and to communicate more openly with us about their plans to improve the game. As a community, we deserve a game that lives up to the high standards and rich history of The Sims. ive started a petition for the community at change.org/savethsims it would mean alot to me if you took the time to check it out.

Apparently Turbodriver getting doxxed was a rumor? I'm not subscribed to his Patreon but apparently the rumor was that some porn addict got so pissed off that Turbodriver couldn't update his mods immediately due to him being on vacation when the patch dropped that they doxxed him in the comment section of Turbodriver's most recent post on Patreon. And now his comment sections on all of his posts are disabled. I know the disabled comment sections part is real. If the doxxing rumor is true (which most likely is) imagine doxxing someone because he has a life and won't immediately give in to your sex addiction? Dude's a human as well and he doesn't owe you shit. These people are lucky Turbo's still going to update his mods after this shitshow. Turbo mentioned like weeks before the patch dropped that he will be on vacation.

to be clear it’s not csam (real children) it’s fictional (drawn & in sims), but they’re extremely creepy as a person & remind me of abusers in my past that exposed me to that same fictional material as a child. it’s common for those that do have bad intentions to use it to blur the lines/make minors feel like it’s normal/okay so that they’re easier to groom & abuse. this isn’t something that everyone that consumes this content does, obviously, but the amount of times they specifically have had questionable boundaries raises red flags for me. (Having a minor character in a fetish pose in a preview on a blog they specifically allowed minors to follow for cc, defending that by saying the original mangaka posed the character that way first so it was his fault not theirs, having a discord server with a dead dove channel that minors could access & saying it was ok bc they had to use a react role to get in, calling survivors that were uncomfortable with this crybabies, puritans & dumbasses, etc)
I never could finish the full post i was making about them bc it was frankly pretty triggering to me & I was dealing with my father’s passing at the time, but I still have the screenshots despite them changing their name multiple times, wiping their blog of everything & changing their pinned to be 18+ only. There’s also other people that have called them out for certain things (like the pose incident) before in the past. I’m not saying they’re a predator or child abuser, since I know they’ll jump to that immediately- but I am saying they’re creepy and their history of a lack of solid boundaries between minors & the adult content they consume is irresponsible and unacceptable. I certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable having them in the same spaces as minors in this community. I personally blocked them a long time ago when they were rentbunny bc I saw they (as a non-black person) liked posts that were calling me a c*on and telling me to kms, but the full extent of all the rest that was brought to my attention was staggering tbh.
When I figured out they were in my server at the time (members came to me with the proof & said they were uncomfortable/triggered), I banned them silently. They responded by publicly harassing me for weeks and claiming that I had bullied them. They openly admitted they had only been in my server with the aim of baiting people into talking about them, and then posted screenshots of… people saying their cc was too high poly, had too many swatches for their liking, and someone editing the buns off one of their hairs for personal use. And they listed off usernames of people that had never mentioned them/were not active, purely with the goal to get others to attack them. They also mocked me for being in mourning for my father that had just passed, and after I had blocked them continued to make passive aggressive references to my grief. And this isn’t even counting all the cc issues, taking money for commissions & ghosting the commissioners for months, and miscellaneous bigotry & bad behavior they’ve been involved in. This is all now deleted & they changed their username to yin-shimo directly after acting a complete fool towards me. But none of my posts are deleted, and I didn’t forget. A lot of other people haven’t either. So overall, I think they have bigger issues in their own house to focus on before worrying about someone else’s cc dress.
