Yes this has to be a joke. It's nice to have more family gameplay, horses and buildable apartments but all those packs were so shallow, so lacking in gameplay and broken af. I can give a small thank you note, but the fact that we have to pay a lot for packs that were mostly nothing and rather just broken messes, DOES NOT deserve praises.

hot take: i think 99% of tattoos look trashy. some of them look ok when they are new but over time they always get this blurry faded look to them that the other anon mentioned and they look like shit. sometimes i see people post pictures of their new tattoos with this delicate elaborate linework and i think of how bad it's going to look in a few years.

I really don’t get game breaking bugs either. I do get plenty of annoying glitches, but it’s never anything I would describe as game breaking. Annoying, frustrating, sure. But not something that prevents me from playing because it’s so severe.

I love Christmas. Probably because I don't do any of the things mentioned. I don't buy presents to anyone, I don't get presents. I don't go spend Christmas with any family because I can't.

So I decorate my apartment late November, make food during Christmas timr and then play games all day long guilty free, eat good food, sleep and do nothing important. It's great! Though a bit lonely.

Sometimes I wonder how it would be to be part of a big family whom to spend Christmas with, buy presents for and all that what is the norm. Sounds nice. But ig it is hella stressful according to everyone who does it yearly.

Unpopular opinion: im ok with Christmas, but new year i dread all year long. It not even funny how anxious and miserable it puts me just thinking about it. I try to ignore it's coming as much as possible to able to enjoy the rest of the season, but today i'm already feeling anxious thinking about tomorrow night. All the expectations, the force happiness, the fakeness of it all. I HATE IT! People is allowed to feel in any way during xmas, even sad or down, but NOT for new years, for new years YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY!! CHEERING! DANCING! CELEBRATING!! there is NO OTHER option, it's THAT OR THAT! there's isnt even an option of NOT celebrating the gd thning bc you are worse than the Grinch at xmas. Grinch at xmas it fine and dandy, feeling down for new years?? HELL FUCK NO!! NOT ALLOWED!

8. Thought that was obvious from the beginning honestly. Sorry this had to be your confirmation. The team has been trying their hardest to garner this family/kid friendly image, and separate from the "controversial"/mature of the past sims game while still trying to be "quirky". Once you realize what they're doing (appealing to children but still trying to bank on shock and appeal of the older games) their marketing becomes a lot more cringe than usual.

10. Same, I've always wanted one even before I knew what they actually were and why people hated them so much. I saw Michiko from Michiko e Hatchin had one, and wanted one too bc I thought she was so hot. A flower of some kind, a hibiscus or a pink tiare flower, nothing too big that's what I want.

11. You would be surprised (or not) by how tech illiterate a lot of the community is. Actually you don't need to be too tech literate to maintain a computer playing the Sims 4, but we're collectively talking about a community that often don't know what they're downloading when they're downloading mods for a game that they actively play.

12. I used to like Christmas, but then I became an adult who realized that she had a fucked up family w/ no money so now I also hate. But I also feel kind of relieved that it's over and done with. For me though, it's mostly because I felt like I HAD to be joyous during the holidays instead of it just being like any other day if things aren't going the best.

8. I Fucking Hate Sims 4 developers. Their sense of humor kills me: I'd literally die of emotional death of embarrassment if I was a sim. Sure the devs have done some good with s4 here and there but they don't understand what makes the Sims THE Sims at all. I wonder if many of them never even played s1,2 or 3.
