1. I'm just tired of hearing about Bella Goth at this point.
6. Lol pretty accurate
7. The Sims 4 fresh players don't know what it was like with Sims 1! Even Sims 2 was pretty tough.
12. Oh man. I wish we could go back to LJ. That would be a happy, happy day.
14. You should buy a round of DNA tests for everyone for Christmas, just to see how that goes over.
17. Lol yep. Although in Sims 4 you can just delete them which is convenient. I have a save with the premades deleted and Newcrest filled out that I use every time I want to start a new game.
18. This secret makes me sad too. Are you sure this is what you want? Why won't he travel? What other things are you referring to?
20. Agreed. I love Sims 2 but have never liked the premades. My hate for them has intensified over the years.

I spent years playing ts1 and ts2 and neither were any more difficult than ts4

lol

you probably played ts1 when you were like 5 years old that's why you remember it being difficult

No it’s a lot harder to manage your sims in sims 1, I played it as a kid then again as an adult and in comparison to all the other games sims 1 is actually a challenge to the point it’s stressful

this person has gotta be a (boring) troll. the motive drain in sims 1 is much faster than in sims 4. skills are gained much slower and come only from training them deliberately, eg sims will never gain cooking skill from preparing food, only from studying cooking at the book case. there are no weekends so every day is a work and school day. you have to have friends to get promoted in your job and visiting sims aren't as easy to get along with and are much more likely to reject your interactions if you haven't taken care of their needs

yes ofc if you play it for long enough you get the hang of things and can manage your sims well. duh. but in sims 4 you don't have those challenges so it's much easier right from the start

Skilling up was actually lot quicker in TS1. It's just that the motives dive so fast that you don't get much time to level up.
