It's a life sim. Of course it does. They're failing to represent life and the world correctly.

And no one start with but muh aliens muh occults. You can still represent real life well and have other fantasy elements in the same media.

I disagree. The people who want fun, fantasy weirdness and those who want a realistic, super detailed life simulator that (almost) perfectly mimics real life are usually two separate groups.

And it's impossible to please both. Whenever there's an occult pack, which rarely happens to begin with, the realism only players bitch and moan about it like it's the end of the world to have a pack that doesn't cater to them.
And as a result of that, occult gameplay takes a backseat in ts4. "Nuuu, muh realizm!"

Remember when vampires were nerfed because some smooth brain complained that a pack called VAMPIRES has, you know, VAMPIRES appear around town?
Some realism players bitch about occult features, which then gets EA to nerf them and even stop adding them, which in turn pisses off and disappoints occult players.

damn, how fucking dumb does someone have to be to actually purchase a game called Vampires, knowing it has vampires in it, and then complain about the content of it??

I'm so glad I never saw any of that. People are fucking unreal with this shit.
