I specifically turned off Amber Alert notices on my phone, but left on emergency notifications. I suppose that I'm not the only person who has done that, because now they send out missing children notices as emergency alerts so that they still go to people who turned off Amber Alerts.

Every time I get one of these, I deliberately don't read about the details of the missing person because fuck you. I literally turned off these alerts. Apparently someone is missing because I just got a notification, but I don't know who because as soon as I saw something about missing juvenile I stopped reading.
