They deleted them because someone was converting and selling them at IMVU or some other similar game then they rebranded their blog to be general gaming blog under name happy-misanthropist and I unfollowed since I only followed them for the Sims content in the first place and genuinely don't care about the kind of gritty games they seem to like. Looking at their blog now it seems that they're still only posting other-game content. I don't know any more of deep lore about them, just happened to be following them when things went down this time. I loved their pictures and Sims so much and miss seeing those 😭

Even if the fibro (if its real, its one of the most common ailments for muchies to claim, also i feel like having pets they cant care for is also a muchie thing) makes physical jobs unbearable, plenty of people work for call customer service from their home or just sitting on you ass all day behind a screen typing emails

I have to share this story somewhere, and I am an asshole and can't tell my friends because they'd be like, why are you such a trashy asshole.

But yeah. One of my coworkers has been engaged to this guy for a year and a half now, and she's been obnoxious about him, how he's so perfect and blah blah blah. Well, she called in for a personal day yesterday, which she NEVER does, and then today she finally came out with (most of) the story.

He was married to his first wife for over 30 years, and they have a daughter. His first wife died from COVID a couple years ago. Apparently they had some issues with trust and infedelity, but this daughter was SUPPOSEDLY 100,000% his child.

And just recently they did a round of DNA tests and found out that she is actually NOT his child. (His only biological child is estranged and lives across the country from us because this child was from an affair on his part and on the woman's part.) His first wife lied all these years but the truth has finally come out.

The fallout was so bad my coworker took off work to support him. The thing is, there were apparently ~suspicions~ years ago. For one thing, the daughter has blue eyes, and is the only person in the close family to have blue eyes. Both the parents and all four grandparents have brown eyes. Of course this isn't impossible at all, just unlikely, but he was a little suspicious about that. (One great-grandparent had blue eyes but that was the closest relative.) And she also just has a much larger build than he or his wife. Again, not impossible, but unlikely. She isn't fat, but just large, tall and big-framed. He's a smaller guy and his first wife was tiny. Just odd that a 5'6" guy and a barely-5"-woman have a daughter who is 5'10", right??

But alllll along she was INSISTENT that no no no, that's your daughter, he doesn't have to worry, etc etc. And apparently that was all bullshit.

So everyone is turbo pissed. No one knows who the bio dad is. He doesn't even have any real suspicions. The grandchildren found out and are devastated. But the woman is dead and now can everyone stay angry at her? So it's a total mess. It's like a soap opera and the part of me that loves drama is looking forward to Monday and seeing what develops over the weekend.
