What is so frustrating to me is that with just the base game, it actually worked well and made a variety of Sims and their appearances generally looked like how you would expect from their names. (And certain people always wanna argue at this point and be like OH WELL I'M A WHITE PERSON AND I WAS ADOPTED BY JAPANESE PEOPLE AND HAVE A JAPANESE NAME well if the game created that type of townie once in awhile it would be fine, but 75% of townies having Japanese names regardless of their appearance is dumb.) And then it just got all fucked up and they haven't bothered to fix it. It's so dumb and annoying.
