004. Idk, I haven't seen ONE clay hair that looks good when ported to TS3. It's just not the game's aesthetic. Even EA's shitty blocky TS3 hairs look better than TS4 ones shoved into TS3.

008. I swear that these people have facial blindness. Like they can't see that these sims all look the same. When I play legacies I deliberately choose spouses with very different facial features and edit the kids if they look too same-y, because I have no desire to play the same sim 9x.

011. I'm not claustrophobic but I'll be damned if I don't understand what it feels like when I see TS4 worlds. Just a while ago I set up a town and built 30+ lots for it myself. Can't imagine how restrictive TS4 feels in comparison.

They wouldn’t necessarily win a legal challenge. They are operating multi jurisdictionally—not every court would agree that CC is a derivative of the game (and thus infringing copyright). Some countries would legally support a creator’s claim that the meshes are their own IP.

No CC creator signs the EULA (+ they are generally archaic/badly written and not well suited for multi jurisdictional application). Plus EA specifically open up the game for mods and CC which further weakens a subsequent legal challenge. It’s a legal house of cards.

There is an argument that a US court (not necessarily others) would see mods as a derivative, as the game code is being altered. With CC most countries would recognise meshes and textures created by the creator as their own IP and allow them to commercialise the assets.
