Do you guys think the simgurus still enjoy working on the game, like at all? Any time they speak positively about the game it's giving held at gunpoint by EA. I could be wrong, but I genuinely think most of them are only still there for the clout, and whatever benefits you get for working at EA for xx number of years.

I'm eager to play The Sims 3 again. Last year I uninstalled it because I didn't want to use the EA app anymore due to the EA buyout (plus I was getting tired of having to log in all the time; I know I can stay logged in and play offline, but the EA app is a mess anyway).
What I'm going to do is install the Sims 3 Fitgirl repack. After installation, I'll select the packs I'll only play thanks to the Toggler DLC included in the repack, and then follow the guide to improve game performance.
But first I'm going to install the repack on an old laptop that nobody uses at home to see if there are any problems during installation, when starting the game, and to check if the modified version contains any malicious files that could cause problems; I know FitGirl is reliable, and I downloaded the repack from the correct website, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.
