1. Oh that's actually such an interesting thought! I feel like he probably doesn't but isn't it funny to think maybe he's one of the people who gets on Twitter and complains about TS4.
3. It's honestly crazy that the poll is that close. I don't know how I feel about it. TS4 is pretty bad, but I just feel like if they release another base game, it's going to be even WORSE. Either way, I don't see anything that I'm looking forward to.
4. I think the game just attracts an audience that is outside of the typical population of gamers and geeks who are more computer literate, and many of them only play The Sims and don't do that much else with their computers.
But I genuinely feel like my experience playing The Sims made me more computer literate. Trouble shooting, making CC, and I mean, it at least forces you to learn what file directories are and how they work, which is something that is way beyond most of my coworkers (older people AND very young people).

Does anyone use her mods?? She seems popular on Tumblr but I literally never see anyone actually talking about her mods or using them. Usually when there's a popular mod you get a few people tagging them and showing it off in their game but I never see anything. It's so weird.

This creator has been caught using AI to sell shit before and turning off comments when called out on it. They literally came on the scene and started paywalling their content and they were caught on reddit pretending to be a "fan" of theirs encouraging people to subscribe to their patreon. It's not that simmers are that dumb, it's that you only hear from the dumb ones. Most people going online to post for help for a problem have no critical thinking skills and are too lazy to search for the issue which 100% has already been reported by someone else and likely already has some solution to it. They're incapable of fixing their own problems and need someone to hold their hand. The smart ones you never hear from because they went online, searched for the issue, found the solution and fixed it without ever typing anything or they just troubleshooted it themselves.

Sims has a slightly larger number of dummies because the fanbase is primarily young American woman who are not taught how to think for themselves and look up to people like lilsimsie who makes it "cool" to be stupid and act positively flummoxed by a game made for children.

While I'm happy to have more modders in sims 3 community, I can't agree more with op. Some of plaidsimmers mods are good, but those with object included are worst. I downloaded some recipies from her (I assume it's she), and game start to lag so much. Guess what? Every fucking recipe mesh is around 10k of poly's, like WTF? ts3 is old game and can't properly handle such high poly AI generated objects without running like crap.
The same cookie jar, in secret 14, is about 10k. I would say it's not worth to put such irrelevant stuff and sacrifice game's performance. So be careful TS3 folks.

I've always been so wary about poly count in ts3 because it's open world. Sure, if I keep my ts2 Sims at home they can have all the super complex cc they want but isn't ts3 still rendering the rest of the town in the background? It's one of the reasons I play much smaller worlds than in any of the other games.
