There were two unposted secrets this week, one was not Sims related, and the other was a gross porn gif.

I was giving Afterglow hair system a try in my game until I realized that the red was the same color as the wooden arch behind the Sim.

I knew that the red in this system wasn't great going in. I'm not keen on the maxis systems I've tried so far and I thought to give one of these other systems a go but this isn't even red/ginger. I don't know what the creator was thinking.

So its down to Simgaroop and NHS.

They probably use reshade that has so fucked up colors that they think it's red.

I hate how big and dark the roots of the red are.

I've never cared for or been interested in any of these random new systems that have popped up lately, but I'm not sure how being the same color as a door makes sense as a deal breaker. A lot of wooden textures in TS2 *are* red in some form because cherry wood and maple were popular wood finishes to use for houses in the early 2000s. It's actually one of the main reasons I hate EAxis wood textures, almost all of it is orange/red in some form.

Is afterglow maxis match? I only seen semi-realistic users using it as a less shiny version to something like pooklet.
