I've never cared for or been interested in any of these random new systems that have popped up lately, but I'm not sure how being the same color as a door makes sense as a deal breaker. A lot of wooden textures in TS2 *are* red in some form because cherry wood and maple were popular wood finishes to use for houses in the early 2000s. It's actually one of the main reasons I hate EAxis wood textures, almost all of it is orange/red in some form.
