i think that is coming. there has been so much fuss that i think there will be an african and/or caribbean world(s). it wouldn't really make sense for the fairy bullshit but i think it is in the works.

and they will make the biggest deal out of that world that they've ever made of any sims content ever released

They will if they think it will sell/if it will create enough goodwill that it drives sales. The execs at EA who greenlight this stuff are going to be 100% focused on profits. If they do surveys and find that the majority of people have zero interest in Africa, the suits will say no.

i would unironically love it if they made a less safe happy vibes fun clean sterile world and instead made a rundown city with an area that seemed trashy and unsafe

You know that realistically it would just be a rabbit hole where your sim disappears to and you hear random animal noises and eventually you get +5 happy moodlet telling you you went to the safari so what exactly is the point that?

I agree. COULD a safari world in a life sim game be a lot of fun? Absolutely. WOULD a safari world in TS4 be any good? Hell no. Absolutely not. You know it would be half-assed and trash. Like when they added the tiger sanctuary in Tomarang and it's just a rabbithole. There's no way they're going to create safari animals, get real anon (respectfully)
