So I already know I am going to be massively downvoted and everyone is going to disagree with me and tell me that I'm wrong. And I want to preemptively tell you that THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHARE IT AND WE DON'T HAVE TO AGREE. But, I am beyond disappointed that we probably won't ever get RepTV. I know, I know, we (collective general we, not each and every single person) have been clowning about it for literally years at this point, but I was so so so looking forward to it. We heard a snippet of LWYMMD on that TV show intro and I thought it sounded sooooooo good. I honestly, truly believed that she had finished ALL of the rerecords and was just waiting for the right time to release them. I know, I know, that was an assumption of mine and yes I know what assuming does, thanks. The Rep vault tracks, though?? How is it NOT a huge loss to not get those???? I knooooow everyone wants to support her and be happy for her and I am! Truly I am. It's better that she has the masters than that we get RepTV, for sure, but I am still allowed to be disappointed. I just was so hyped for the release, for the vault tracks, the rerecords, the general fun that we get to have when she releases something. The new Rep merch!!! 😭

I've seen theories that next year she'll do a 20 year anniversary release of DebutTV and I think that's fantastic. And then maybe the next year, 2027, she'll do a 10 year anniversary of Rep and release the vault tracks/a deluxe edition. But that is soooooo far away, over two years! I don't want to wait that long! And I wanted it to all be wrapped up and over with so we could have a clean fresh start for her new new music. But now that won't happen because until DebutTV and RepTV (or Rep deluxe or the vault tracks or whatever) come out people will never drop it and everything that she does will be covered with more comments about REPTV WHEN??

I just think we're really missing out and as someone who has always loved Rep I'm just really sad it's not getting it's time in the rerelease spotlight like the others.

Oh, and this is off the subject, but I wish the people who are whining that she did this to spite/overshadow Miley would STFU. You know how Swifties can always find a way to clown based off of dates and occasions and stuff? Like "RepTV is coming on X date because it's exactly 13 weeks after Y happened" and stuff? Well, the haters can do that too. She released this info on this date and they whine that she's trying to outshine Miley. If she'd released it on a different date, they'd find something else to whine about. They'd say she was trying to outshine someone else or block someone or some such bullshit. Her owning all of her masters again is HUGE and it will always make a splash and that splash would mean less attention goes to other things. Is she supposed to sit on this news until a slow news day comes along? Get real. And even then, they'd find something to complain about. "She released it on this day because it's the anniversary of when Billie Eilish released a single!" they'd always find a way to bitch.
