you should let go of some packs tbf especially the newer packs, they're not really worth the bugs and you can just get bgc mesh edits of the CAS items you want on the internet

i did play pirated with plenty of addons a few years ago and it was more bothersome because not only it was buggy they'd clash against each other, townies were too randomized and at some point all my sims stopped doing what i tasked them to and there would be random sims dying of cold outside my house in the winter
